In January 2021, Susie faced a Stage 3, HER2 positive IDC Breast Cancer diagnosis. A year of treatments and surgeries followed—Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, double mastectomies, and ongoing hormone treatment. Despite the challenges, Susie's determination prevailed.
After leaving her role in the weight loss organization, Susie's spirit was far from slowing down. She wanted to offer support and positivity to others. Recognizing the need for an inclusive space where people could connect, regardless of interests, she created Pinners Award Club.
Beyond the badges and stickers, this club embodies a journey of shared experiences and mutual encouragement. It's about dusting off forgotten passions and embarking on new challenges. Susie and her team are here to uplift, inspire, and motivate you every step of the way.
In 2024 the addition of a Weight Wise club based on Pinners Award Club and following calorie counting has been an exciting step which is developing as it grows.
